Do you know any of these people? Yes it is EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER. They are in Manchester. Meghan got to go down and meet some of them today. She is going back on Monday to paint with them. Plus meet Ty Pennington. She got to go on the motorhome where they watch the video as they go to the house. She sat in Ty's seat and it was awesome she says.

Fundraising for Dance

Hi Everyone

I am fundarasing for dance. I want to go to Vegas this summer for a Ballet Seminar. I have to compete in March then I will go in July to the Nationals and the seminar. I may win a scholarship for the seminar but it still costs alot to go there. So my team and I are rasing money. We have some fundraisers going. We have a 50/50 raffle going and the winner will receive a min. of $500 at the end of November. Also starting Nov.1st we will have tupperware that you buy online and a % comes to me at the dance studio. If you just want to give a small donation you can send it to Success Dance, 416 J DW Hwy, Merrimack, NH 03054. Make check payable to SDPAC with a note for Meghan R. ballet seminar.

Right now I dance 5 nights a week. m,t,w,th, sa. I take 3 ballet classes, 1 adv. tap, and 1 lyrical.
Plus rehersal for the Nutcracker.

If you would like to see the Nutcracker it is Dec 14 7pm, Dec 15th 2 & 7pm, Dec 16 2pm. It is held at the Amato Family Performing Arts Center in Milford NH. My mom and I are both in it.
We are actually on stage at the same time for one of the dances. It is a very good show and tickets are only $15.

Meghan and Daddy did a motorcycle ride for CHaD today.

It was great. Stray Dog band played, the Meat House fed us,

and lots of bikes rode. We had fun and raised alot of money for CHaD.

The ride was put together by Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart donated $412,000 to CHaD on Wednesday 9/19/07. What a day it was. This makes $2 million in 6 years. So every penny you put in those Chad-a-sorus banks add up. There was one door greeter there from the Seabrook Store that raised $17,500 all by himself. What a wonderful man he as to talk to. A true inspiration. Thank you to all that helped and made this years check the biggest so far. The kids from CHaD (Children's Hospital at Dartmouth) thank you.

AAHHHHH Back to School. My favorite time of the year. Well at least now that the first couple of weeks are over and we are in a schedule now.

Meghan is in the 5th grade and has a great teacher Mrs. Newstrom. She loves it so far. She is doing chorus this year too.

She is also back to dance. She is taking Ballet, Tap, Pointe, and Lyrical. She is also in the NUTCRACKER Dec. 14-16. So watch for more details. She also has me in it but I am not going to tell you what I do. If you have seen it in the past it was funny ....wait till this year.

So Meghan is doing great with her health. BUT winter is coming and that is our really hard time. Maybe it won't be for once. I will keep this update if we have any hospital stays.

Yup that's right Matt Bonner of the SPURS NBA team. They both were at the Kristin's Gift Golf Tourney that raised @ $47,000 for CHaD.

Meghan is now just getting ready for school to start. That is all for now.

Hi All

I went to the Palace Theatre Youth Camp this summer. It was AWESOME!!!!!! I LOVED it.
I met alot of kids. I was in a show on the Palace Theatre stage. The same place my friend Kaleigh does her shows. It was sooooooo much fun. I will be back there again next year. The staff there are crazy, hyper and fun. Just like me. Bye for now Meghan

Here are pictures of Meghan at the Red Sox game today. Yes that is a World Series ring she has on her hand. She got to wear it and borrow it to take to CHaD to show the kids.

She accepted a check on field today for $6500 for CHaD and watch the game.

Of course I was probably more excited about all this than see was. She has no clue how cool it is to hold a Red Sox World Series Champion ring.

Meghan will be attending the Red Sox game the 15th to accept a check for Children's Hospital at Dartmouth from Hood. She is excited I think. I know I am . Actually I might be a little more excited than she is. Anyways pictures will come Monday. Sue

Meghan and I just returned from the NYC International Tap Festival. She danced 6 hours a day for 4 days and had a show at the end. She had a blast. You would think she would be tired but of course not. Below are some pictures. Enjoy Sue

Hello

Ok Ok so I know I haven't posted in a bit so here it goes. Meghan is now a 5th Grader. Can you believe that? She informs me that she is now a Pre-Teen. AAAgh. Anyways we are done school for the summer now. July 6th she is off to NYC to tap dance for a week. July 16th she is off to the Palace Theatre in Manchester NH for a two week theatre camp. There will be a performance Thursday July 26th at 7pm at the Palace in Manchester. Come and see it it is free.

Meghan has been doing alot of guest speaking for the Make A Wish Foundation. She spoke for the Federal Credit Union kick off meeting for their Make A Wish fundrasing. This was held at the Balsams and that was a nice weekend. She ate two 2lbs lobsters there.

Meghan will be tap dancing in NYC the the NYC Tap Festival July 7-11th ending with a show at the end. She is very excited to go dance with her NYC friends and Jason Samuels Smith, Jimmy Slyde, Harold Cromer and others. We will post pictures after we return.

Dance Recital

Meghan's dance recital is June 16th at 2pm at the Amato Theater in Milford NH. Tickets are $12 adult & $10 children. She will be in 8 dances. Tickets available at the door.

HI, this is me doing D.D.R that is dance dance revolution. Do you now what is cool? I got it checked by the docters and it is counts as fisikle tharipy. Isn't that cool. Have a good day.

Meghan....Was granted a full Gregory Hines Youth Scholarship to the NYC Tap Festival this summer. This is the third year she has won this scholarship. She will spend a full week with some of the best tap dancers in the world.

Singing In The Rain

Please go to the Palace Theatre in Manchester NH next weekend and the one after to see my friend Kaleigh perform. She is FABULOUS. I have enclosed a picture of her with this. At least I hope it comes thru. I will be there.

I am staying to Monday to work on my lung functions. I have to be able to run up 3 flights of stairs without stopping. YIKES. Mom says she will watch. She can make it half way.

Staying till Monday

It looks like we are going to be staying here until Monday the 7th. Meghan's lung function tests went down a bit. Meghan is bummed out about it, but what can we do.
The nurses are great here. They are making her laugh so she forgets she has to stay longer. More updates later.

Thank you for all the things you have been sending. Thank you classmates and teachers for my flowers, Marybeth and Uncle steve & Aunt Karen for my Lobsters. I am feeling better. I will either go home friday May 4th or Monday May 7th. I have made some new friends and some old friends have come to visit when they come for checkups. I have some cool pictures to put in once my mom downloads them. I miss you all. Love Meghan

HI All

Meghan is as CHaD. She was admitted on Monday April 23rd for IV meds and some other tests. She is doing well. It is now April 30th and we have about 5 more days here we think. Meghan had alot of visitors. She especially loved having Sammy come visit. They met last time she was here and became friends. It was good to see Sammy and see how well she is doing. Meghan and her dance studio just completed their show to raise money for CHaD. They raised @$2000. She was very proud to give it to them when she came here. Pictures will be posted soon.
