My Special Friend

Last night at 9:30pm my friend Paige passed away. Yes I am sad
but I know she is home with Jesus now. She touched my life and I will
always have her in my heart. Every time I go to CHaD I will continue
as she and I did to make people smile, give the nurses a hard time, and
go down to visit the moose on the wall. Every time I play dance dance
revolution I know Paige will be right there beside me playing it.

This is Meghan's friend Paige. We learned last night that her
battle with cancer is not going well. So Meghan wanted me to
post this on her site to honor Paige. Paige and Meghan are like
in the fact that they are both very strong in their will. They both
love to help others and share things. They both know the pains of
being sick. Meghan wants everyone to know how special Paige is.
Meghan met Paige in April at CHaD. Meghan wasn't having a
good day one day and Paige came up to her and gave her a hug.
No words were needed just seeing the hug and the look Paige gave her
was all Meghan needed. It was priceless. That is the kind of person
Paige is. So from that moment on they were friends. Meghan taught
Paige how to do dance dance revolution. Lots of smiles were made.
So we have tears but we have LOTS of smiles.

Meghan also wants me to put in that this year's "Come Together Show" that her dance

studio puts on to raise funds for CHaD ( Children's Hospital at Dartmouth) will be in honor

of Paige and proceeds will go to the CHaD Pad.

Paul DiMeo of Extreme Home Makeover made Meghan's dream come true.
She spent the last week with the cast and crew of the show working on a house in
Manchester NH. By the pictures you can tell the fun she had. I would like to tell you
that the cast and crew are wonderful, caring, hard working, loving people. They go out
of their way to meet and greet fans. They work hard for the family of the house they are
doing over. BUT Paul took Meghan under his wing. She worked on projects all day for two days with him, had lunch, toured the house, signed autographs, and just had a grand time with Paul. I just don't know how to or where to begin to tell you what a week she had. I just don't
have the words. INCREDIBLE, OUTSTANDING, AWESOME, POWERFUL, FANTASTIC, OUT OF THIS WORLD. That is how Meghan describes it.

Do you know any of these people? Yes it is EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER. They are in Manchester. Meghan got to go down and meet some of them today. She is going back on Monday to paint with them. Plus meet Ty Pennington. She got to go on the motorhome where they watch the video as they go to the house. She sat in Ty's seat and it was awesome she says.

Fundraising for Dance

Hi Everyone

I am fundarasing for dance. I want to go to Vegas this summer for a Ballet Seminar. I have to compete in March then I will go in July to the Nationals and the seminar. I may win a scholarship for the seminar but it still costs alot to go there. So my team and I are rasing money. We have some fundraisers going. We have a 50/50 raffle going and the winner will receive a min. of $500 at the end of November. Also starting Nov.1st we will have tupperware that you buy online and a % comes to me at the dance studio. Right now I dance 5 nights a week. m,t,w,th, sa. I take 3 ballet classes, 1 adv. tap, and 1 lyrical.
Plus rehersal for the Nutcracker.

If you would like to see the Nutcracker it is Dec 14 7pm, Dec 15th 2 & 7pm, Dec 16 2pm. It is held at the Amato Family Performing Arts Center in Milford NH. My mom and I are both in it.
We are actually on stage at the same time for one of the dances. It is a very good show and tickets are only $15.

Meghan and Daddy did a motorcycle ride for CHaD today.

It was great. Stray Dog band played, the Meat House fed us,

and lots of bikes rode. We had fun and raised alot of money for CHaD.

The ride was put together by Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart donated $412,000 to CHaD on Wednesday 9/19/07. What a day it was. This makes $2 million in 6 years. So every penny you put in those Chad-a-sorus banks add up. There was one door greeter there from the Seabrook Store that raised $17,500 all by himself. What a wonderful man he as to talk to. A true inspiration. Thank you to all that helped and made this years check the biggest so far. The kids from CHaD (Children's Hospital at Dartmouth) thank you.

AAHHHHH Back to School. My favorite time of the year. Well at least now that the first couple of weeks are over and we are in a schedule now.

Meghan is in the 5th grade and has a great teacher Mrs. Newstrom. She loves it so far. She is doing chorus this year too.

She is also back to dance. She is taking Ballet, Tap, Pointe, and Lyrical. She is also in the NUTCRACKER Dec. 14-16. So watch for more details. She also has me in it but I am not going to tell you what I do. If you have seen it in the past it was funny ....wait till this year.

So Meghan is doing great with her health. BUT winter is coming and that is our really hard time. Maybe it won't be for once. I will keep this update if we have any hospital stays.

Yup that's right Matt Bonner of the SPURS NBA team. They both were at the Kristin's Gift Golf Tourney that raised @ $47,000 for CHaD.

Meghan is now just getting ready for school to start. That is all for now.

Hi All

I went to the Palace Theatre Youth Camp this summer. It was AWESOME!!!!!! I LOVED it.
I met alot of kids. I was in a show on the Palace Theatre stage. The same place my friend Kaleigh does her shows. It was sooooooo much fun. I will be back there again next year. The staff there are crazy, hyper and fun. Just like me. Bye for now Meghan
